Southeastern Wisconsin Autistic Navigators (SWAN) is drop-in support/social group for adults on the Autism Spectrum which meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Adults on the Spectrum who are able to self-regulate and independently participate in activities without the assistance of a caregiver are welcome to attend. This group is ideal for those looking to meet people, practice social skills and make connections with those in the adult Autism community.
This group is not intended to be therapy, but rather a safe space for adults to engage and make connections.
SWAN is facilitated by Rechelle Chaffee and Stephanie Wagner.
Rechelle Chaffee serves as the Executive Director of Autism Society SE WI and has family members on the spectrum. She has championed for Autism awareness, education and supports by providing programs and services that benefit the Autism community. She brings a passion for advocacy efforts to work every day.
Stephanie Wagner is a graduate student at Southern Illinois University studying Behavior Analysis and Therapy. She has over seven years of experience working with the Autism population.
