John Meerschaert is retiring from Milliman! Join us in celebrating this accomplishment.  

A Message From John:

I am retiring on June 30^th after 30 years at Milliman.  It’s been an incredible ride full of meaningful work, world travels, and amazing friendships, but now it’s time for me to move on to other adventures!

To celebrate my upcoming retirement, and as a way to give back to our community, Bonnie and I would like to invite you and a guest to join us at the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Gala on Saturday June 15^th at the new Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee. 

I’m also excited to tell you that Milliman is the title sponsor of the event! The mission and vision of the Autism Society SE WI is to create connections, empowering everyone in the autism community with the resources needed to live fully – creating a world where everyone in the Autism community is connected to the support they need, when they need it. 

After the retirement reception, there will be a general reception, dinner, a program, and music.  There will be lots of fun silent auction items and plenty of other opportunities to support the Autism Society SE WI.  Don’t forget to bring your wallet! 

Many of you know about my family’s long history with the Autism Society SE WI.  My parents started the Autism Society SE WI back in the mid-70s when my brother Dan was diagnosed with Autism as a way to support other parents in the same situation (and our family, too!).  It has grown over the last 50 years into southeastern Wisconsin’s major resource for individuals, families, providers, and schools to come together and support the Autism community.  I’m also proud to say that our very own Kelly Backes is the current Autism Society SE WI Board President and is leading the Autism Society SE WI into the future.  After I retire, I plan to get more involved with the Autism Society on both the local and national level.  It’s time to put my Medicaid knowledge to work advocating for people with Autism!
